Special Olympics Rescheduled

May 3, 2011
Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Special Olympics have been changed to Thursday, May 5, 2011 due the weather forecast.

The meet will be held at the Pottsville High School Stadium. The opening ceremonies will begin at approximately 9:30, with all the events beginning immediately following.

Please have your child dressed in appropriate clothing for their events and weather that day. (Sneakers, shorts, sunscreen, cap, etc.) Lunch will be provided for athletes only. Anything the students bring, they will be responsible for. I cannot provide sunscreen, etc. due unknown allergies.

Parents are welcomed and encouraged to watch their child participate in this wonderful opportunity.

Hope to see you there!
