(Note: gym clothes must be in a mesh gym bag. School approved bags are available in the office for $8.00)

MONDAY MARCH 28, 2011 BA WILL BE DOING OUR CLASS GROCERY SHOPPING, MAILING LETTERS AT POST OFFICE AND GOING TO THE LAUNDRY. WE ROTATE THESE JOBS MONTHLY.

PERIOD 1: Functional Reading 2
Monday>IEP goal check
Tuesday> Daily story for reading comprehension/vocabulary
Wednesday> Introducation of new grocery store words for functional reading
Thursday>Vocabulary from dictionary work and ABC order worksheets. Finish for homework
Friday> completion of computer lesson of new grocery store word set

PERIOD 2: Functional Reading 1
Monday>IEP goal check
Tuesday> Wordsearch of old set of grocery store word vocabulary
Wednesday> Introducation of new grocery store words for functional reading
Thursday>Computer lesson of new grocery word set (Individual)
Friday> completion of computer lesson of new grocery store word set

PERIOD 3: GYM

PERIOD 4: Functional Math 1 and Functional Math 2
Monday > IEP goal check for Math
Tuesday> Individual assignment as per individual need* Money
Wednesday> Individual assignment as per individual need* computations
Thursday> Individual assignment as per individual need * Mixed review
Friday> Individual assignment as per individual need * Math games

* Complete assignment if told to do so for homework. Otherwise, the assignment is continued the following lesson.

 

PERIOD 5: Functional daily living skills

Tuesday and Thursday> Group 1: We will work with developing job interview questions/answers from ABOUT.COM


PERIOD 6 and 7: Functional work skills
Monday>Prevocational coupons for teachers
Tuesday>Makin Tacos!!!
Wednesday> Pre-voc: As assigned: shredding; sharpen pencils; counting cover letters
Thursday> Home ec: Plastic canvas pattern, making tissue boxes
Friday> Pre-voc: Finish any pre-voc job you did not get to complete this week as per assignment
